A edição desta sexta-feira (20) do Diário Oficial do Estado traz a promoção de 66 militares para o posto de tenente da Polícia Militar. Assinadas pelo governador Ricardo Coutinho, a promoções integram o processo de valorização e humanização da PM.
O comandante geral da Polícia Militar da Paraíba, coronel Euller de Assis Chaves, afirmou que o Governo do Estado vem cumprindo com regularidade o processo de promoções tanto para oficiais como para praças porque entende que o maior patrimônio da corporação é o homem.
Diante do novo processo de humanização implantado pela gestão estadual, várias medidas administrativas, operacionais e logísticas vêm mudando paulatinamente os costumes e procedimentos adotados pela corporação, o que tem resultado em benefícios concretos para os 10 mil homens que fazem a quase bicentenária Polícia Militar da Paraíba.
